Themis Organizing Services, the innovative personal organizing service run by Professional Organizer Jena Jolissaint, was launched when a friend admired Jena’s immaculate home office. Jena offered to do the same for her friend’s workspace. Her pal was so thrilled with the results that she hired her to do her closet (see the beautiful results here), and a new career was born! Now, Jena is has a diverse base of clients and is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). Recently, Themis was featured at the Lifestyle '08 Event at Twelve Hotel, and Jena was honored to be a guest speaker at the Atlanta Garden and Patio Show.   What makes Themis unique is Jena’s organizational philosophy. She believes that a truly functional and aesthetically-pleasing space shouldn’t necessitate expensive products and excessive up-keep. Her economical and effective three-part approach of design, implementation, and sustainability maximizes space and maintains order in homes and small businesses. Unlike other organizing systems that try to impose a one-size-fits-all approach onto particular spaces, Jena takes the time to personalize a system that is unique to each client.  This personalized approach includes utilizing materials and furniture her clients already own, integrating her system seamlessly into the clients existing interior design while also making improvements when necessary. In addition to being budget-friendly, reusing and recycling materials saves clutter in landfills. Her earth-friendly design philosophy is inspired in part by the service’s namesake, Themis, the Greek goddess of divine order who was also associated with the care of the earth.
